This year's Nursing Conference 2024 will have a new look and promises exciting topics that go beyond the traditional day-to-day work in the OR. The title "Conference of Functional Services Spine Surgery" invites you to discuss the special challenges associated with spinal surgery and to bring new findings more into clinical application. In addition to some practical exercises such as the conventional insertion of lumbar pedicle screws or, as a counterpart to this, the virtual implantation of a cervical vertebral body replacement, the one-stage ventro-dorsal X-LIF positioning and the much-discussed "mummy coverage" in intraoperative CT, the programme will be rounded off with hot topics such as promoting team spirit, integrating international specialists, Generation Z and the development of professional self-confidence. We look forward to a lively exchange of experiences in an interprofessional setting and cordially invite you to Hamburg.
